This page contains information about the hours The Sharehouse is open for business, guidelines for scheduling pick-ups of furniture and a list holiday closures for 2010.

DROPPING OFF FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS

The Sharehouse is open to receive drop-off items of furniture and household goods on the following schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (open during lunch)

• Second and Fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon 
  (Saturday openings are dedicated entirely to receiving your items and are staffed by volunteers.
  The phone is not answered on Saturdays, but someone is definitely available to assist you.)

NOTE: The Sharehouse will only be open on the second Saturdays of November and December. We will resume our regular second and fourth Saturday schedule in January.

ARRANGING FOR PICK UP OF LARGE ITEMS

The Sharehouse is able to pick up large furniture in Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park city limits and on Mercer Island. Please note that we are often scheduling up to four weeks in advance. To schedule a pick up, call 206.767.5280.

It costs The Sharehouse $75 to pick up large items at one stop, and averages $450 each day we have our truck on the road. Please consider a generous donation to help with these expenses.

Emergency Closure Policy:  The Sharehouse will be closed whenever Seattle School District closes due to snow or other weather-related conditions.
